Default [Project] Doc on Methadone (small update 8/28)

i had a q6600 set up with an asus p5q deluxe and it worked marvelously till i had some problems with some soda n stuff so i went to go get me a new p5q but frys did not have them in stock and since i had insurance they gave me a new i7 motherboard so i was like yeah but then i realized i was broke so um yeah here is the current progress i will do some more modifications to the case n stuff as well as water cooling somewhere down the line so stay tuned.

is a good idea to leave it like that with out a cpu or ram? i want to turn it on damn i wonder if its a good idea lol

Here is Doc v.1.0.6
it looks cool with the blue n stuff it is friking awesome

here is another shot. damn look at that mess damn.

this looks cool too thats why i am adding it here cause it looks cool

so does this one.

as you can see cable management is not all that well.

better look at the cable management it looks like crap and believe me i have tried working on it just cant seem to get it right.

Thats my doggy Eva she is awesome look at her eyes she is a killer. she is also my personal assistant ha ha ha all she does is bite my shoes.

and here it is all stripped down and ready to go i was plannin on cutting out wholes were the tape is at just so you guys know

first failed attempt. maybe i should of stuck with bill owens whole sawing guide with a dremel to bad i saw it too darn late

afer my failure with the whole i ended up making squares blaaahhhhh but yeah. i put in the motherboard and stared thinking about what i was going to do with the cables.

close up

another shot with the hdds i did the hdd flip it works so much better

early cable management looks better than it did with v.1.0.6

just thought that would look cool

this one looks even cooler lol

some what finished even though i still need an i7 920 and a good cooler and some ram damn i want it working aready i want to test it out i miss counter strike.

CRAZY EYES BUGLY BUGLY BOOO

now it is time for the back this is the most dificult part for me

looks ok doesnt it?

still need to work on a few things here and there but i think it looks fair.

close up

ohhh and for those of you thinking hey where is the 8pin cable is to short so usualy i pass it under the video card but i am planning on extending the cables n stuff atleast untill i get a new psu

and it is done for today

Try pulling the 8-pin directly up from the PSU and running it directly under the motherboard (not through the hole in the case, just under the mobo). You can secure it with some duct tape and have it come around the top of the mobo. You should have enough length. I did my A900 this way and it works great.

I think you've done a great job with that case, it's hard to make it look clean in a 300.

youre welcome, enjoy the app

dont ever worry about "being as good as" anyone. If you enjoy the modding work and it gives you satisfaction, then thats all that matters
