ok just received my HAF 932 today. i got big plans. though i have never done anything as extensive as my plans state but i wanna go the distance. i know i will need help. but heres the layout of what i want to do so far

• THEME: ice high contrast
• inside metal of the case will be flat black and the plastic will be dark blueWHITE
• outside will be duplicolor mirage ICE primer flat white and the mesh will be white.
• it will be watercooled
  
• i plan to buy a second usb top panel from CM and i want to take a breadboard and move 2 or more dials from a rheobus to where the first 2 usb and firewire ports are, 2 that will jointly control just my radiator.
  
• and then down the side of the front of the case i want to do the same with rheobus dails for the rest of the case fans.

now where i am going to need help is i have never in my live soldered but i am open to experimenting before i do this project and i will need some advice on websites or just advice on how to go about it all...

ill have pics up tomorrow of the new stock case once i get my camera out of my car. im to lazy atm

Love the name, definitely looking forward to checking out the work in progress. I can't be much help with the HAF but I am fairly experienced in water cooling so let me know if you have any questions! I don't have any good links for soldering that I can think of but I'll check around for some. I suggest laying a plan out first (I hate it too and sometimes skip it but it really helps) and figuring out what you need and how to do it.
Edit: Here's a decent link to get you started, some good advice. Just practice soldering some stuff and see how it turns out, "helping hands" can be a real life saver with soldering, if you have a fry's nearby you can pick some up cheap.

As far as soldering goes, go to radio shack, buy a grounded soldering iron, and some wires, a pc board and some resistors or something cheap to practice with. I used radio shacks 62/36/2 ROSIN-CORE .022" Diameter Silver Bearing Solder. Just practice getting good, clean connections.

I had an extra top board for a HAF that I could have given you... I tried to get a HAF powdercoated and the shop that was stripping it destroying the metal frame.

Unfortunately I threw it out

I knew I should have hung on to the extra parts.

for the mirage paint, make sure you really really really take your time and lay down very thin even layers, and wait the dry time it reccomends on the can between layers.... back in the day i sprayed some nitrous bottles for my car with the stuff, didnt follow the directions to the T and had some bad results!

k thanks.. i might be having a friend who does professional tagging do the mirage for me if i dont understand it.....

do you knwo if one kit of 3 8 ounce cans will be enough or should i get 2 kits..
