ye, i dont like the idea screwing up that thing, cause it was $40...

I actually want to keep up with this mod and offer my input so subbed.
Thanx for the subbing
hmm, acrylic is a nice idea, but the problem is, its hard to get colored acrylic for me, ive got to order it from a shop somewhere in holland. I can get transparant acrylic here in my village.
for the unused bays, im not sure what i could do, atm im thinking about using some kinda mesh and make a front panel from it. But thats still not sure.

Im getting pretty sure about the painting, i want it to be camo.
I paint the case black, doesnt have to be covering all the beige, just a little layer. After that i use needle leafs as pattern and get green and brown spots on the case.

For the sidewindow i'll use mesh, to give it an rough look.
Cause there wont be any light in it, an acrylic sidewindow is pretty useless. The mesh will let some air pass, and still look cool. I can also paint the mesh, so thats an other good point. I guess ill use those countersunk screws to get it on.

The foam on the inside will also be painted. Just some kinda camo style like on the outside.

If ive got a nice frontpanel im pretty sure the dvd will also be stealth.

I could get some kinda css fan grill, and put that on the front bottom, on a 500rpm fan. So the fan wont be inside the case, but outside, between the front panel and the case, so i can make that panel stronger.

well, these are the idea's i have atm, ill try to get some pictures about what i think and wanna get.

grtz

Sidepanel idea:

(sorry for this crap made with paint, its just for the idea...)

as for putting the fan out side the front don't. put it deeper inside so theres less chance of hearing the fan its self. put it inside and less of the noise is out side the case to begin with.

well, ive been thinking about that too, and decided to put it all back. so there wont be a real front panel, just a mesh cover.

just test fitting the hardware, im still waiting on the cpu and the hdd, and i dont have much time atm, so thats not a real problem.
The dvddrive will be hidden behind the mesh, and only that little part that comes out will be cutted out, and glued/taped on the drive. Ill show it later on.
all the metal inside will be covered with the foam.
