Sorry got MAJOR busy again
But I did get a *little* more done, and a couple pics, including one crack....

Just for fun, I ran SuperPi on my old rig...just for the heck of it, I didn't optomize either, I had FF and IE and quicktime still running, and some other small crap in the background, but I had heard that the 1M test was a common benchmark for system performance. For non optomised, and non OC'd, id have to say a 2003 CPU did pretty darned well. 0m47.281s for the 1M test. Not amazing, i know I can do better if I stripped some services and killed active programs, but at the same time, that number is more "real" cause that is performance in how I usually use my system.

Marcam, np about missing me in chat, I know you got stuff to do.

I got home from work last night (2300 ish) and found by the door, my bag from Newegg!!!!

This morning I hooked everything up, barebones for testing, I am on my mobo box, only things plugged in are my Bluray drive and my 9600GT for testing.

Maybe im paranoid, but first thing I do is go into BIOS and just let it sit for about an hour, to see where temp and voltage fluctuations goto. +12 is a bit low, however this is not the PSU im using for this build, it is th spare that is not currently being used. Suffice to say, im pretty happy so far, in a kinda warm (not unfomfortably so, but a little warm none the less) i didnt have the fan on, CPUs sat at idle at 32c. I have my push/pull Noctuas on full tilt..... I never bother with all that mobo control crap, I just load it up on a 4pin molex and be done with it.
I swear though, god is telling me to upgrade those to water..... I got 2 system builds coming up soon for others, and both will need a better air cooler.... and look what I found last night.

States on it, server grade AMD and Intel CPU's

Anywho, it is currently grinding out memtest86+ for a few hours. I am basically gonna let it run ALL day.

First off, I think the universe is conspiring against me. To my PSU.....

PSU was under volting form the word go. 11.80 in bios, when in windows it started at 11.63 and dropped to 11.61 in short order. Then during my first wave of CPU tests, output dropped to 11.37, then 10.90 then powered off, and never turned back on. I cant even jumper pin 4-6 to turn on 12 volt, which is how I had always bled the air from my water loops in the past.

I am getting an advanced RMA. But *&^*&^)*&)(*&%$^#^%$#%$#!!!!!!!
I keep getting stupid 5h1t like this happening, im gonna go from to

Oh dude! I feel for you man! After all that work... Advanced RMA? Does that mean they will allow you to keep the cables you sleeved? Are you sure you didn't cross some wires when you sleeved them? When I did mine, I did one wire at a time and then put it back. You should try finding a wiring diagram showing color codes and volt specs and invest in a voltmeter before you RMA. Then you can do some troubleshooting to make sure it's not just wired wrong.

It was on a work bench, not even in the case. With the PSU unplugged from the PC, and just using a 4-6pin jumper, it wont spin up. PSU is faulty.
I don't usually do anything fancy with my PSU;s, I just usually twist tie things out of the way enough that I can get descent air flow. This is the first one im trying to make look nice.

Advanced RMA means they send to me first, then I send the defective unit back in the box they sent the replacement in.
