Maurader Hi case looks good. I'm painting my HAF as well and was wondering after the paint job did you have problems getting the HDD rails to slide back into the cage without scratching everything. If so did you solve this in anyway? Thanks for any response and I'm looking forward to seeing your final pics.

Oh 1 more ? How did you get the side meshs off the front rails. Mine look to be heat welded to the plastic. How would i get them back on if I got them off some how.

Dude sick paint job. I love it.

Great color choices. Reminds me of someone else's... *cough* mine *cough*

Planning on doing anything else in there? Mayahps some perty lights or something?
I can only guess, based on the fact that you wanted to do some UV reactive stuff to your rads or whatever. So are you doing some fancy colorings?

EDIT
Just saw on the previous page you mentioned CCFL black lights. Very nice

Hey all, thanks for the props
Cyberg:
1) Its rough, but I have found that a clear coat helps, but I haven't found a way to keep scratches off 100%, kinda a bummer there.
2) They are actually hot glued on, and over a small tab, you have to look pretty cose, but you can see where they effectively just mashed the mesh around a small tab, I went in there with a pair of very small needle nose pliers and removed them, and in so doing, slightly bent them. From there they were painted, pressed back in, and rebent around the small tabs.

And Dilyn, yup, got some logisys CCFL 15 inch black lights. Now for me, I don't want them out in plain site, but I want the effect visible, So that is the direction I am goin, I will have them obscured but still very usefull.

Wondering, do you have a link perhaps, for some UV clearcoat, that I can brush on? I wanted to do some fine detail work with UV paint, but im not sure where to get some in a standard bottle, don't need a lot, but just a bit for some small UV detailing

Thanks to everyone for all the props on my project thus far. This is my first where im taking looks into consideration

Thanks for the info. Got em off pretty easily. Painted em and back on with super glue. Had to do a lot of touch up on the drive chasis cus of the scratching. But it's finally done. Should post a series of pics for people soon. Can't wait to see yours when done.

Thanks again I just put myself on the email list for the AC Ryan UV paint from Artic mods. Althout it isn't quite what I was looking for. I was actually looking for UV clearcoat. So I kinda have a "stealth" look with my UV. So if my UV is off, you are none the wiser, then you crank on the UV's and look at the GLOW, and it was right under everyones nose, and they never saw it

My buddy did that to the guage needles in his car about 8 years ago now, and replaced his dash lights with UV, so I know something like that is out there, just got to find it..... IF it is still being made. If I can get it in clear, I will also paint the water blocks I just installed too.

There's probably some UV clear coat floating around on the Internet. I dunno why people would stop making it, it's a great idea.

As for hiding the CCFLs, since you went with a 15" it probably won't fit in your drive bays. That's usually where they go if you wanna stealth them. I put mine right at the bottom of my case, just beneath my window. You can't see it unless you look directly down, so it's pretty nice.
You could possibly slide it up in front of the PSU... That's where I'm putting my second one when I get it.
