Default ATCS 840 window and computer rebuild

Ok folks, I received my Cooler Master ATCS 840 last week and it's an incredible case. I'll be switching to it from my older CM 690, and along the way, add some slight improvements to my WC system and also a window.

As far as WC goes. I'm adding these into my current set up:

Cooler Master offers a side panel with a window found here:

But the problem presents itself when you see a photo of it actually installed on the case:

*** Cooler Master! What's up with the horrible dimensions. And it also brings up one of the issues with this case. With the support "beam" sticking about 2" out from the back of the case and it also being flush with the top and bottom, you have to offset the window to the right in order to be able to put the side panel on.

With a little looking, you can find this case on performance-pcs.com:

I think it looks great and, at the same time, presents the solution to the previous stated problem. The acrylic panel needs to bolted onto the outside so that it doesn't block the side panel from being inserted. That said, I wish they offered just the side panel for sale but they don't, so I'll be making my own, similar window.

First pics should be added tonight and finish date should be Saturday at latest.

Ok getting started! BTW I'm horrible with a camera and I don't know why it changed to a landscape view. Must have hit a button. I also cannot get very good close up shots to show detail.

This would be what Im working with.

Squared and at the dimensions I want it to be. It's large enough to see everything around the mobo, bottom stays level with the top of the psu, does not overlap the bays, does not go higher than the horizontal support beam, and is far enough to the right to not see the vertical beam.

My acrylic sheet from home depot.

Hardware I'll be working with. Stainless hex socket cap screws, aluminum washers, and aluminum bolts to match. All from home depot.

Now tomorrow I will be getting some cutting done. A small toothed blade for my circular saw to cut the acrylic and a pneumatic cut-off tool for the side panel.
