New to Overclock.net
|
Hello all i am new to the community but i have a new project i am starting and i would like to share it with you all. For this projuct i will just be water cooling the CPU the GPU will come latter or i might do another project :-D.
So lets Kick this off. I have a Lian Li PC-G70 for the case will be powder coted white on the out side and black on the inside with blue coolant. CPU: Intel Core i7 920 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...-202-_-Product Mobo: ASUS P6T7 WS Supercomputer http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16813131390 GPU: BFG GeForce GTX 295 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16814143192 Ram: Kingston HyperX 6GB http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16820104126 PSU: Antec TruePower Quattro 1000W http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16817371012 Radiator: Black ice GTX 360 http://www.dangerden.com/store/black-ice-gtx360.html Pump: DD / Laing DDC-12V 18 Watt Version 3.2 With DDC Acrylic Pump Top http://www.dangerden.com/store/dd-la...rsion-3.2.html CPU block: EK-Supreme LT http://www.performance-pcs.com/catal...ducts_id=25893 Pump ![]() Rad fans ![]() PCU ![]() ![]() ![]() Ram ![]() reservoir with custom mounts ![]() ![]() Cpu water block ![]() PSU started taking it aprart what a mess. ![]() Mobo and GPU ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Case sorry i stared to work on it my mom was out of town with my camera. ![]() this is the bare bones. i will post a complete pic latter top of the case with slots for radiator this was cut on a CNC router got i love that thing. ![]() This is a mounting plate the rad will bold to with flush mount screws then the top plate of the case will go over it and you wont see any mounting screws for the radiator. Also i will be bending the wings so it will give the plate torsional strangth i just need to drill my rad mounting screw first then it will be off to the shop to get bent. ![]() Radiator ![]() If you have any questions comments i will be checking and updating this post frequently so please don't hesitate to ask. Just a little update i will be cuting holes in the motherbored try for cable orginzing tonight or tomarrow and have pics of that up soon. Also my sleaving stuff should be ariving mid week so check back for updates to that as well. |

i love that case. its a bit taller then the rocketfish. i like how it has more top space for a bigger rad

YOU ONLY NEED TWO TOOLS IN LIFE - WD-40 AND DUCT TAPE. IF IT DOESN'T MOVE AND SHOULD, USE THE WD-40. IF IT SHOULDN'T MOVE AND DOES, USE THE DUCT TAPE. I heard Ford is coming out with heated bumpers in 2010 so your hands don not get cold while pushing it.

Just a little update of whats going on.
today i got a new sheet metal break so i could bent that top plate for the rad and to my surprise after a few test pieces i got the hang of it and it turned out really nice. Tomorrow im going to get some flush mount screws so the top fits flush but that's not a big deal as of right now. Now to the good stuff.
