Ok so I figured i would create a build log as well to log my progress of my 1st water cool system. I have already posted the first couple of pics earlier in the HAF 932/922 thread. This project will take me a couple of months to complete.
Components; »HAF 922 »CPU: Intel Core i7 940 OC'd to 3.69 »Motherboard: Evga X58 »EVGA GeForce GTX 295 »CORSAIR DOMINATOR 6GB (3x2GB) Water cool parts; »RAD - XSPC RS360 & XSPC RS120 »CPU Block - Alphacool H14 Yellowstone BRB »Alphacool CoolCover Universal CPU Mounting Kit »Black Feeser mosfet block »Koolance MB-EVX58 »EK-Multioption RES 150 »Swiftech MCP655™ Series 12 VDC Water Pump »Koolance-D5 X-TOP »BITSPOWER Fittings »(UN)Designs Pump Z2-Bracket »PrimoFlex Pro LRT Tubing »Distilled Water with Silver KillCoils Case Mod will be minimal for now. I have painted already and for now will cut out area in top for 360 RAD to breath. HAV Envy's case log gives me inspiration to do more with my case though. Sleeved all wires along with PSU, this was a long process but very worth it to me when looking at the difference. The modular PSU's are were to go if you are planning on sleeving one. I originally had the Corsair TX750, but had too many left over power cables not being used so I purchased the Corsair HX 850 (Modular PSU) Chad

Here is the difference of non painted -vs- painted. These cases are really nice, Cooler Master needs to at least paint the inside Black for us though, but it was still fun painting.
Also, sleeved wiring -vs- non sleeved Updated with progress of build. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

As I had posted in the HAF 932/922 Thread;
This case I thought would fit the slim 360 on top with the fans inside it as well for my build. I have the XSPC RS360 Rad with 25mm fans and it hits my RAM clips along with my Alpha Cool CPU Block. I received the Alphacool CoolCover Universal CPU Mounting Kit that will replace those flat disc's on it. Also just got one Yate Loon Slim Fans 20mm to verify it will clear the CPU block as well . The 360 fits fine, just had to drill holes under the top part of the case, but easy to drill. I am adding a 120 RAD as well on the back fan. My system will be set up kind of like this minus the fans up on top of the case; ![]() So far have these parts; ![]() ![]() The slim fans, 20mm's it will fit in my case seen here, I just put my 120 RAD up in the case with the fan for clearance of the EVGA x58 board. The 25mm fans would not clear the RAM clips or the CPU block bolts. But These 20mm slim fans DO!!!!! ![]() ![]() Also, Sampled the different fitting sizes on a 3/8in. ID X 5/8in. OD PrimoFlex Pro LRT Tubing. I tried it on a 1/2" Barb and a 3/8" Barb. Pretty easy to see the difference. Was also trying different clamps so that's why the koolance clamp is on there. The 1/2" barb with the 3/8" ID tubing was pretty tough to get on. I placed the tubing in hot water for about 5-10 seconds to soften the tubing up for it to slide on.

OK so just killing time until I can purchase more parts for my build. In the mean time, what look do you think will go better in my build?
»The red tubing »The red tubing sleeved If sleeved, »Sleeved with the silver clips »Sleeved with the black clips »sleeved and paint the clips Red ![]() Have to mess around with something until I can get more parts. ![]() Chad

Sleeved with black clips looks sick. Go for it!

The sleeving is from MDPX-C. It's their Tube Sleeving Kit. It is night and day comparison to the sleeving you get from frozen or perfomance-pc. Even the heatshrink is 100 times better at Murder and MDPC-X.
Here .
