Project Blackbird TJ07 - Overclock.net

Please don't confuse this with a HP blackbird. I have been an avation buff all my life even been working on my Private Pilot Cert. This project is named after the fastest aircraft in history the SR-71 Blackbird. This plane started service in the early sixties and retired in 1993 it still holds world recoreds for highest alitude and fastest recored air speed of mach 3.2 it might have even went faster but most of this plans history is classified.

Enough about the plane on with the project.

Plan:
I have a TJ07 in black with window. I just got done taking it apart to have it Iternals powder coated flat black. I will be droping it off tommrow. I have talke to Charles from murder mods about pre-ordering a mid-plate and a sleeving package. I might get a stelth face plate as well or might have one custom made with some gold or silver laser etching of some SR-71 clip art or have it laser cut and back lit with some leds dont know yet..
Main colors will be Black,Chrome, and maybe blue or red I have not decided
yet..

Parts
Basicly my sig computer /w bigger water cooling system.
Any ideas or tips are welcomed.

Sounds like a plan, I look forward to the end result. As for the colors (don't know what you're going for) but I would drop the chrome and go with flat black and red as thats how the sr 71 is colored:

The chrome is just the color of the bitspower connectors ... Maybe I will get the black sparkel finish instead with or comment and photo for insperation I will use black and red murdermod sleeving..

Droped off internal parts to the metal shop for powder coating. I was told that it should be ready thurs or friday.

SR71 Note:
The main metal in the SR-71 is titanium it was the fisrt of its kind to use such a large amount. During construction the U.S did not have ample supply of titanium so we bought a large amount from Russia to finish the first ones, yep thats right from the very country that we were building it to spy on hmmmmmmmm....
