Xbox 360 Compact build
Hey guys, I'm getting ready to put my Zotac Micro-ITX LGA-775 board, with a E5200, and a 350W Micro ATX PSU inside my Xbox 360 Elite.
Here is my To Do List:* Day 1: Open Xbox 360, remove insides, figure out where screws go, maybe put some holes for the back panel (VGA,USB etc). Day 2: Put the parts inside the case, figure out how to cool it (hopefully passively). And possibly turn it on. *I might not do it in seq, the days are days of work, not from today. However I am starting day one today. Pics soon! Yeah, its been done before. But I don't see it in any elite cases much...  Maybe when I'm setup, I'll get some compact watercooling solution.

UPDATE, Ive opened the 360, and I can't figure out how to separate the metal inside from the case. Anyway I'm going to get this cut, and put some holes for the ITX board mounts. Wish me luck!

thanks, on Monday I'm taking it down to a workshop to get it fitted and whatnot, a DVD drive will be hard for me to fit in, as all I have is one of those 5" IDE ones left at home. A USB one will work fine, no? I'm going to get this booted up and I'll see if she still works. I'll install windows as well.
Cooling the hard drive, CPU and PSU is going to be a challenge. I'm thinking of a 120mm fan to pull the air out of that thing.

If you haven't bought the PSU already go for an ITX or TFX power supply. It's gonna be a really hard to fit it in properly.
Also this thread needs pics NAO!
