The inside job on that HAF looks well done, I'm looking to buy one this weekend but my only issue is the interior grey. I figured I could paint it okay, just not sure how to go about it

Thanks man. For paint I recommend Rustoleum Enamel. Very durable stuff and looks great. When I used it instead of normal spray paint I got zero scratches and such. ANd the best part I did not even use primer or clear coat. Think of it like powder coating for the poor like me.

Moving on my 8800GS's have Arrived but they are at the post office. My mail box is a half mile for my house so they don't leave it at my door step sadly. Hate the post office. Picts update tomorrow after I get them in.

Also I have order 2 LED sun sticks. I chose the more expensive LEDs because they are really RED not orange unlike cathodes.

I have also picked up some LEDs for my front IO panel. Well see about doing that tonight if I am not to lazy.

So when doing the IO LED mod I ran into some aaa problems but it is done now. Thank god. Longes time I ever spent with a soldering iron. First my LEDs were backwards - was + and vise versa. Then the power one was not coming on. I looked at my solder connections and resized the issuse . Now I am finish an so happy because I can go to bed. Also thae fact I have done cool mod. Bie blue LEDs and hello Red ones. Stay tuned for more folks

It works

I have done better solder jobs.(This not being one of them)

Another action shot

They did not have any recommended LEDs so I grabbed the pot luck pack

Bed time now its almost 4am.

Great work on the LED mod, it is little things like that really get noticed on the final product.

Thanks man. It was a pain in the butt because my soldering iron was having issues. But like all geeks I have "spares". So I grabe one of those and was done in no time. Unfornatule I have to fix the one for the power status because it is not working any more. But the HDD activity one is working great.

Uploading some picts of the 8800GS and Red LED Sun sticks now. Be back in five to ten mins.
