Ok, so not everything could go right, here is my first mistake:

When I painted the HDD drawer handles, I had them straight out, so when I bend them to clip them in, there is still some silver. A recoat easily fixed that.





I know that one looks silver but it is just the glare, its all red.

Next I set up my remaining items for painting.

My Handlebars, hanging from the garage door:



Taping the red part that I painted on the door:



The back of my door:



The front of the side panel needs another coat:



And the back of the side panel, which I can sill see if I look through the case, so it needed to be painted:

Two coats on the back of the door:



And two coats on the handles:



These are drying right now. I'm going to let everything sit for >24 hours and then it will all be perfect.

Thanks, I'm pretty happy so far. I am planning on getting the window cut by next weekend, but until then things might be going slow. Althought I might do the Aperture Science logo on the back panel.

All I'm saying is, I'm pretty caught up, things will be going at a much slower pace now.

I felt like checkin out the job I did on the door. Here it is with the tape off. I'm very satisfied with this one, even though the edges between colors aren't perfect. Who's judging? I am. It's fine.

I went outside to check on the paint drying, and found my cat playing with a praying mantis next to my stuff, luckily the paint was dry enough not to adhere to any of his hair. He was probably getting high off the fumes





That case under my painted case is the one that I used to practice cutting/painting with so that I could be sure to do everything right. It must be at least ten years old now.

Ah dammit - you're making me want to MOD a case man!
I have a SERVER TOWER AT case, that would do SOO great with some coloration, and a WC loop.

Just wait until wednesday when all my stuff is completely dry. Then I will put the case together as good as it's gunna get before installing things, less the side panel window. I might just put the whole damn thing together because I'm just waiting on my processor now. Oh. And some stuff for the WC loop. So by thanksgiving I will have a running computer. More pictures will be arriving shortly.
