Default CM 932 HAF custom paint Chrome,Gold,Black, & Blue

Tomorrow the CM 932 HAF is supposed to be delivered to me by UPS. I have purchased the Chrome, Gold, & Blue paints, some sand paper, lacquer thinner, 1/8" drill bit, masking tape, & rivet gun. I can't wait to start working on this custom paint job. I will post pictures of the progress. The outside of the case will be Instant Gold with black accents. I will mask off what areas remain black and the rest will be painted Instant Gold. The majority of the interior will be painted Instant Chrome and the drive bay racks will be painted metallic blue. I will install blue lights throughout with blue fans as well. I have not seen a paint skeem like this one. I do not like a lot of black colour, so most of the mods I have seen I do not care for to be honest. I do not like red either for the most part. I want a case that looks nice whether the lights are on or off. I will also clear coat all surfaces. I will mask off the "HAF" on the side of the case so that it really pops surrounded by the Gold. All the fan grills and bay grills will remain black as well as any other plastic black parts. I will not be painting any of the plastic parts. Check back often to see how this project is shaping up. I might rent a mini storage unit to do the painting in.

Welcome to the board both of you!

This has my interest as I've never heard of a HAF (or really any other case for that matter) being modded like this. I can't wait to see some pictures!

Chrome is a neutral color and goes with everything. The blue drive bay racks look sharp no matter what colour they are next to. The Gold will be on the outside with black accents. The reason I am painting the inside chrome is to reflect more blue lighting inside the case when the lights are on. I am just not a big fan of black or red. Cool blue and relaxing is the mood I am trying to create with a real touch of class!

I get the case tomorrow and I am really tired at the moment, but I can't wait either. I want to do a great job with this first mod to get a reputation going for my custom PC building service. I need photos for my new website. I have been wanting to build custom PCs for years after going through A+ certification training two times. I don't know everything about computers but I want to get more proficient at building and working on them. I deliver pizzas full time for Domino's on my motorized bicycle and I would like to replace that income with custom pc building, so I need to do the best damn job possible to make that a reality. Cheap & quick will not do!

Default CM HAF 932 case is painted....ready for clear coat!

I will try to attach some photos of my progress now. The Case is painted and ready for clear coating. After the clear coating is finished, I will rivet the case back together. I can't wait to take some photos of the finished case. Then we can start some real KickAss computing. Cheers!
