Default Any suggestion new electronic PC project?

Hello Guys!
I've just built my new i7 system, before going for OC, I would be interested in some electronic project.

Is there any suggestion about any project I could build?
I am good in electronics, Medium level project wont be a problem.

I would be interested if I would have something to do with OC..
ex.. Temp... external display..

Don't know, maybe you could help

That is awesome! They say that it can be done on a "shoestring budget," but I wonder how much that is exactly. Even if the whole thing only cost 10% of MS Surface it would still be $1,200.

Once I tried building something similar to this, but I consisted only of a usb camera, and a simple box (30min project). Its purpose was just to move the mouse arrow, but it worked 90%

qft

only reason i didn't want to hook it up to the main rig is I don't actually have space for it. I'm sure you could build one that fits on a table (instead of being a table itself) though.
Good luck,
and be sure to post pleeeenty of picks

I still cannot understand how the display is showed on the screen. It only consists of a camera and led's!

apparently there's a projector in the cabinet that reflects off a mirror at the cabinet's bottom?

i suppose, depending on the type of projector you could turn it horizontally, assuming your desk was wide enough

it says somewhere in the comments that it totaled to $350, but that he already had a projector lying around and that his proximity to the various supplies cut down his cost a bit
