Default HAF932 BEETLEJUICER Mod

Hello All,

Just got my HAF932 last night, and ripped it into a million pieces.
Planning on doing a custom paint job first then later a side window mod. Details Below

Build will be whats in my sig

Going to go with a beetlejuice color scheme. Black White and then green and uv purple.

Modifications planned include

- Paint front bay mesh grills white (5.25 and the one that covers the 230mm fan)
- Paint a black fan with uv paint to replace the red led fan in the front
- Mod the red led 230mm fan with purple uv lights and mount in top of case
- x4 Nexus Basic 120mm for the side (possibly uv accented)
- Paint bulk of interior black, paint back panel white, paint drive cages white, paint other accent-able areas white.

This will be the start of the project once i get this part done i will probably do a window later. I already started taping off the back panel going to paint the X white as well as the hd cage vents. That will be the first test painted areas. Pictures to come soon. Thanks

Default Update

Picked up some white paint today to do some of the grills as a test... figure i'll start small since im awful at painting. Im gona paint them tomorrow i grabbed duplicolor Adhesive promoter and duplicolor truck van suv pure white. As I have read no sanding required for mesh stuff. Just adhesive and color...clear coat if i want, but im gona hold off on that.. Any suggestions welcome, i wont paint until tomorrow. Again all im painting is the front mesh panels and the mesh in front of the big fan on the front.

*Cant find the battery for my camera, will borrow one to take some shots of the mesh panels before and after.

*Found a camera
Here is what ive done so far *only had the case one day haha*

As you can see the back panel is almost finshed being taped off, what is black will be white...the blue will stay black.

The small grills are the inserts for the front that will be white..now i need to figure how to get the big grill out.

Pull underneath and forward on the grill and it will unsnap. Then you just unscrew it from the back. Then take off the 3 screws that holding in the side meshes and you can remove them from their plastic welding with a razor and some slight pushing. I super glued the side mesh back in after i painted them.

Yeah, i found that the removal process for the side mesh grills is not as forgiving as some other parts, Definitely will require glue to put back on.
Thanks for the tip.

What color did you paint yours?
