Default First mod, Volenti cooler

Hai, how ya doing... Ive been a fan of case mods for a while, I have been meaning to mod my rv01 but to get a bit of experience i decided on a small project to start with to get some skills...knowledge of materials and other important things

this mod will be changing my pc from air to liquid cooling and the from scratch creation of a perspex volenti cooler, so even though you will see very little of the rv01 in this post its still a case mod none the less.

im currently sourcing parts for this atm, having trouble finding acrylic that wont cost me an arm and a leg,, no luck so far

here is a rough ms paint design

if you are going to watch this regularly or sub it do note that it may be a week or two between updates while I learn new things and find parts...i have a new camera so there will be plenty of pics

specs and item list to follow, budget approx $500

:O update for you all. I went and got some supplies for a "test" run unit, before I spend the big bucks on the final product, I just need to get an idea of how effective it can be, so here's some pics to keep you interested

now as you may notice i do not have pvc cement, instead i opted for plumbers tape for one very simple reason, the testing will require alot of modification to find a suitable compromise, therefore if i were to cement it and need to change something later. well lets just say it has something to do with a lack of paddle, a creek and lots of poo....

there for for now a temp seal will do, the pvc fits tightly with all connectors anyway I will be starting assembly tomorrow, stay tuned for updates

peace out G.
