Hello there this is my first thread and post on this forum. go me. anyway i have been living with my antec 902 for about 8 months now and grew tired of its looks, i have replaced all fans inside for green ones and other stuff but i still dont love it like i want to. So today i decided to buy a mATX Lian Li PC-A03. i love the look of that brushed aluminum. Problem is i have a full size atx Motherboard and the case is matx. ( i did know this before buying
) Just some pics of my current case and the lian li. I will post updates as the whole shiz progresses. ( i will also have to mount the psu else where )![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

Interesting. I have no idea how you are going to squeeze that ATX board in there. Good luck and I'll be watching.

yes it should be.. i hope. i will be moving the psu to where the hard drive cage is atm and be mounting my hard drive in the 3.5" bay. so on the rear panel all there is, is the atx plate.

well i had a trip to my local hardware store to get some advice on getting some panels cut buy a lazor but i decided id just try a dremel. i also picked up a rivet gun. i dissembled an old case to take its atx motherboard plate out to be fitted into the case. I then removed the top panel and psu supports. Finally finished the day off with some painting. pics below.

Dude, I understand the beauty of a project to do more than most but I mean come on. You'll have to butcher that case to get it running an ATX board. Why not just go with a mATX other than the fun of making it work? Sounds like you got a case of the "if it ain't broke, I'll fix it until it is". Good luck.

ahhh cheers. yea i am planing cuting the motherboard plate to the exact shape of the motherboard so that u cant see any of it, then putting up some white acrylic behind the mobo plate under the top of the case and bottom and put a piece in to separate the front area so that when i mod a window in all you can see is the mobo. im also going to put in two 120mm fans at the top.
