Bondo = Half way done. Did the outside so its mounted good and strong in there.

Need MOAR(!!!!!!) Bondo to finish the aero-dynamics inside so there are no dead spots. Hopefully get some tommorow.

Pictures.

Well, I'm thinking along the lines of Yellow with Black tribal flames...

Pull out that huge Motor & Fan, Maybe paint the inside all yellow too so it looks pretty cool even when looking in from behind.

Keep going! Need Bondo! Send more grit! (Imagine Ty Pennington with Bullhorn) C'mon people we've got 17 hours and this mod isn't done yet!

That is a cool looking shroud--what sort of fan is that? Not a PC fan I guess...

Its an engine compartment blower from a sea-doo boat, runs on 12v, 5amps. The spec sheet I pulled up said it throws out 513CFM on full-tilt.

I'm lazy, and I'm leaving off of touching the case until I get my new power supply, motherboad and SCSI card this week...

I hear that--now that is definitely a new one for me--a Sea Doo fan--is it loud? 5 A? I guess you need a stout PSU!

513 CFM . My god!
Dont forget to bolt the case down. We don't want this to be the flying case mod .

Good work. I am interested in how that 513CFM fan turns out.

Well, since I always go LANing, I've decided that handles are my next goal.

Custom of course, but its going to need a lot of re-inforcing.

Might have noticed already that the top of the case has been raped with dremels and jig-saws repeatedly, which means there is basically no support up there. That is where a piece of 14x7" with a thickness of around 0.125/0.250".

I'll draw something up and post it a little later. What I decide on, it won't be hard to make, but I plan on making it all on the lathe. Aiming for shiny as possible for all the pieces though.
