As rippon said, you'd better hold that thing down so it dosnt fly away . 0.250" Is 1/4" there bud, thats pretty damn thick, which equates to being pretty dang heavy . 513 CFM.. . Good luck

Yeah, afterwards I was thinking that 1/4" was pretty damn big... Maybe something like 1/8"-ish?

Yes, it does go to LAN's, gone to like 3-4 with it so far. Its not too bad, only problem is that its too big to put on top of those crappy wooden tables.

Okay, for handles I was wondering what you guys think...

Knurled? Or all mirror finish with custom finger grooves (For my fingers only. ) for the carrier handles?

Heres some pictures of the pieces I'm using, and the handle I made for my camera to show off what I mean along with a pic I took of one I did with a knurl.

Opinions? Post them! I'm going to do the handles and mounts tommorow morning so I need input NOW NOW NOW!!!

(Yarr... I know that knurl looks garbage, its because the knurling tool went off to the side when I was only 3/4 through... RGG, doesn't matter though, its a nice sharp grip. Feels good in the palm. )

Very nice handles, but would they put pressure on the case, depending on the location of it and the materials and sturdiness of the case shouldnt be a problem. Make sure you secure it, you dont want to break you hardware if the handle breaks

Here just and opinion
Make the handle on a slider bar, and bolt it in the usual place, but through the slider bar, which is attached to the handle, so if the handle bolt breaks then you will have a safety slider bar

Knurling definitely.

Did you do the hand grips on a lathe, or did you buy them pre-made?

Then i would go with knurling, considering it will have more grip, so when carrying it, and your hands get sweaty will not slip, but depending on the case, shiny may fit the description of the case mod, i would go with what will match the case better in the end
