Project: NOS's Gaming Case
Intro Well, my Antec Mid-Tower was stating to seem very bland, so I picked up a SUPER CRAPPY Mid-Tower, white in color. Goals 1). Cut the front and back Fan-Mounts to hold 120MM fans. 2). Paint the case black 3). Fix the mauled front bezel 4).Strip all the fans cept the two 120MM's and Power Supply's fan Before I go into detail, I will give some numbers starting out. When I was in BF2, the CPU went to 42C and the GFXcard to 70C, My Antec case kept the CPU to 38C and GFXcard to 60C; I hope to achive 35C CPU and <50c Gfx card.    You can already see 50% of the airflow is blocked....  Now the front is another story, it gives a place mount a fan but look closely; there is no place to pull the air!  As you can see the case is stripped. Man, this thing weights less then 2lb's! Cheap Aluminum! Way more to come, I have already cut the front, but I lost the camera! Feedback please!

Cool, My case is cool because of the fact that it's got several layers, then a grill overtop on the front, So I've managed to do a lot of ugly looking modding but it doesn't look ugly as the grill covers it. I did a very similar mod, Nice one

I got the front fan mounted!
  Now to cut away all the metal constricting the air-flow!

Now I will warn you guys, this is the WORST way to cut aluminum, I used WIRE CUTTERS!
 Bad huh?  it cleaned up KINDA good, if i can remove the edges, I will be all set....

Yeah, just testing.
I have a jigsaw; I did not have the right blade/couldn’t get the right blade... Wait till you see the front plastic... EDIT: Dad prolly sold the Dermal for a pack of cigarettes / lottery, because we use to have one....

This is the 1st layer of plastic that I had to cut, I used more compassion and took my time. Got to understand, all I have are some wire cutters and a drill with some bits... I would have loved a whole saw...
