Bingo. Just sand the paint first so you get that raw MDF on the edge lid. Then let it soak up the glue and you should have an easily paintable surface. Just a trick I picked up doing fiberglass subwoofer enclosures. Good luck and be sure to post the finished pics.

Naw, I havent ran it yet. Hoping for the end of the weekend. With the setup in the first pic of the first post I was idleing at about 20 - 21, with load in the low 30's. That was with the CPU @ 2.8 and both GPU's slightly o/c'ed. The main reason for the mod is it was kinda loud and I wanted to install 2 more hdd's and had no room.

I was thinking of doing something similar but urs is better. i ll prolly do the same thing with my water cooling setup.But it wont be 4xRad, i will buy a
BIX II and 2 high cfm fans so my fans gonna be at only one side and i will try to build it with steel...

Here's a few more pic's. I should get some more done in the morning.

Edit: I should mention that I will be placing black filter material behind the screen so you will not be able to see in to the base. Also the hdd racks and rom drives will be painted to match the inside of the case.

omg dude you just saved my best mod yet, my mailbox case. I wanted to watercool it by external means and I didnt know how, so now im gonna copy wat u did. If you dont mind?!
