I took apart 2 of the neon crab coolers and attached them to the back of the case with zip ties.

pjlietz, I have the same Haier fridge. Got it at Loblaws at new years for $99. Heck of a deal for a black mini fridge (its in my office as well).

Nice work on the mod. When I go water (which I expect now I have my FX-57 I may have to), I'll review your notes here.

Ya it's a nice fridge, I got it a Superstore ( Loblaws for the west, lol ) Ya 99 bucks is a steal. As for the mod, thanks. I may revamp it as I'm not very happy with the temps, but thats what I get for using 8.5db 33cfm fans, lol.

Well after a few weeks most of the pic's are back in. I seem to be missing a few but i'll find them and get them put back. Also expect phase 2 of this mod to start soon. It's already in the works and should lower my temps alot more.

Hes using MDF which is compressed cardboard essentually. So no grain my friend. I would sand the edges, and paint a few coats, and you have it made. Looks really good.

And I never did do the finishing work to it, it has been taken apart now as well. I had a lot of fun doing this mod and it may see the light of day again.
