Hi CyberDruid, ive been reading your thread now and again, i thought i should make a dedicated folding rig too.
I was surfing ebay one day and found a good ATX twin skt370 mobo (not sure on make yet), should be here in the next few days. I was going to pair this up with 2 800mhz pentium 3 CPU's (pick them up for no money these days  ).What i was gonna ask is, im going to be leaving this new rig to fold 24/7, as i only have one monitor keyboard and mouse etc, how would i set this rig up to fold "without" a KVM switch? Thanks mate, i would'nt have bothered worrying about a folding rig but after seeing yours i think its a really smart idea .

Good questions cokker--I have downloaded a piece of free SW called VNC--it's like remote desktop (which is defferent than remote assistance BTW)--but have not tried it out yet. I will let you know in the next day or so...If all your PCs are XP Pro then Remote Desktop would be a good way to go about accessing the machine with no peripherals.
LOL I just keeping pluggin and unplugging monitors and keyboards at this point--eventually I hope to have a better way. Glad that Crunch inspired you to get a rig going! CyberD

The built is coming along nice there CyberDruid, I've used VNC before and it worked pretty good.

VNC question?
About that VNC--I have downloaded the client and host SW but have not installed them--is there some documentation I need to read--or is the SW gonna walk me through it?

Another space saving idea: Instead of using full fledged Power supplies, try using MicroATX or SFX PSU's

those might not halp him as he wants to hook multiple mobos up to a single psu...i want to try this as well. i have a few psus lyin around a a few older mobos that im going to try this with.
