I have been thinking about it for a while--the airflow is awesome--the entire bottom is open--that's a 144 square inches inlet--and will be fitted with a filter--which might a good project for today--aluminum C channel will hold it in position just below the mobo backplane--cables will be snaked through the filter to the I/O on the mobo--as this quadrarig will run blind as a folding farm 90% of the time--the monitor will only be attached when needed--same for the keyboard and mouse. The top makes a good sized platform for a keybaord and monitor, though--and I am considering using a 4 position KV switch so I can share the monitor and other HIDs. I might fab up a surface mounted I/O for those--perhaps on the top panel under the table top.
I need something to tinker with--so this kind of project is ideal--it can start off one way and end up another--Aircool to WaterCool for instance--1 rig to 4--all sorts of details will come into focus when the hardware arrives. The plan is to make all the guts easily removable without having to unscrew anything--I will be experimneting with different types of mounting hardware in that regard.
