Default protecting fingers

i just got myself 2 120mm fans from ebay that are bout 120cfm. the blades are sharp as hell and im worried that i might accidently cut a finger off if they were on or something. what can i put over them to cover the blades but that will not restrict airflow?

A simple FAN GRILL will do. You can probably find better prices somewhere.

Ya you shouldn't be in there while it is running. If you search the net you can find filters that can be used on the inside. or if all else fails, use an identical grill on the inside.

I personally dont like fan grills, so instead i wrap the blades in cotton wool. This way when i stick my face into them it doesn't hurt... much.

I also do this with my blender. LOL.

EDIT: Yeah, just put a grill on both sides of the fan if your that worried.

Make sure you sandpaper the hole, and then put some U rubber over it to avoid sharp edges. Put some grease around the newly drilled hole, and then screw your computer, screw it hard. Maybe install some UV lights and turn em up to indicate that your computer is also excited.
