Default Switch for BIOS clearing!

This may be the single perfect switch for this purpose!
It must be pulled before being switched, therefor, you can't accidently clear your BIOS! In one position you have the default jumper setting equivelant, it the other it shorts the CMOS to clear the BIOS

Not a bad switch... but i prefer and still would highly recomend a SPDT momentary type switch, for obvious reasons of course.

Meh....i have switches laying around i could use....just have 2 in seqence so you have to hit 2 to do it....better than going out and buying a new switch IMHO.

Consider this... since it's a 6 pin not only does it provide a near fail-safe design for BIOS clearing, you can in line the case On/Off switch through the switch so you can not start the system via the case switch while in CMOS clearing mode.

pin1 CMOS o o pin 1 on/off black
pin2 CMOS o o pin 2 on/off black
pin3 CMOS o x
