Old LCD From a palm pilot... usable?
I have an old Sony TG-50 but i kinda broke it when i was trying to fix it... o well... but is there anyway i can use the LCD from it for anything... such as for displaying my temps or anything like that?

i wouldnt have a clue to do it... if i can finally reach the lcd do you even think i can use it. it works fine... well it did when i last used it... but yeah guys do you think this thing is usable if i get it out? it would be nice to make a mod from an old lcd and this lcd is a pretty nice color one too... just let me know if you guys find anything.

well i cant get it out right now lemme take some pics... dont have small enough screw drivers... well had to take pics with phone... so not the best but itll do

hmmm you would probably have to make somethign that reads your temps then have a video output.. dunno how you would do it though.. and im especially not sure cause if that is a palm pilot u might be able to have some other goodies as well because it is a touch screen.. good luck though

alright... well im still have to get the screen outta there then ill take more pics.... i dont care if i can use touch screen. I'd love to have a temp reader or somthing like that.
