Default iPod Dock & Mouse Charger in 2 5.25" bays.

I am thinking about building an enclosure to house an iPod nano dock and Logitech G7 Mouse Battery Charger that will fit inside 2 5.25" drive bays. They will sit side by side and the ipod dock will be angled so the ipod sits horizontal with the screen facing up. The battery charger will sit next to it and will either stick out slightly or have a recessed hole to push the battery eject button. I was thinking of using wood for the internal enclosure and cutting my bay covers to use them as faceplates for a nice clean look. The cord for the iPod dock will go out the bottom of the bay (fan controller is below so there is room underneath) and out the back to a USB port. Same with the battery charger but it just goes out the back of the enclosure. The goal is to have an easy to access dock and charger while keeping a clean look, and be somewhat easy to move to a new rig (like a cd drive)

This is my first custom case job so I'm looking for any advice or ideas that I haven't thought of.
