HULK SMASH!!!
![]() |
Okay I am planning on doing a paint job on my 360, I am guessing following Spooky's guide will do just fine. I am thinking a dark blue, to kind of match my dark blue computer since it is on the same desk. This will probably be done over Thanksgiving, or I might make my first attempt on my dreamcast that also sets on my desk (VGA adapters FTW). Anyway, anybody have any suggestions for me, and how much paint do you think it will take, like how much primer, how much color, and how much clearcoat, and how many layers of each should I put on?

I'd say two coats of primer, two coats of color, and two or three clear coats just to be on the safe side.
Remember to give it time to dry between each coat. Don't rush it!! Give yourself a whole day just for sanding and painting. I'd say about two to three days to dry. Make sure you don't do like my crackhead friend and paint it without taking it apart first!
