You know I was just thinking, I could probably use an extra cover and make it into a ram cooler. It looks just like that OCZ ram cooler. I would just omit the pot. Hmmm.... I might try something like that.

Naw, ram cooling is pretty ineffective. Most air methods are a gimmick, and the water cooled methods, I've seen, can usually only get the best quality ram up another 5mhz. Not worth it..

Can you describe wiring the fans to the pot. more in depth? I've never done one but I didnt quite understand it.

In order to control the speed of the fans one of the wires has to pass through a resistor. You can either have it be a static resistance or you can use a potentiometer and change the resistance which then changes the speed.

Ok, I got that part. I was asking how you actually wire the fans into the potentiometer. You said something about the +'s going to one side, then a jumper wire and the ground, thats where i got lost
