Default LCD Monitor or LCD Pannel

I am currently modding a Mozart TX case,
however i am left with 18cm by 33cm free space at the top of the front pannel,
here's my dilemma:

Should i put in a LCD Pannel:

Or should I go flatout and put in a LCD Screen like this:

And if it should be a LCD Monitor, should it be a touch screen or should it be jusst a monitor (would the touch screen be too much of a toy?) or is the LCD not worth it?

I can get the pannel for like 80$ and the monitor for 99$ (non-touch) and touch would be 140 Dollars? what do u guys think?

yes because you could put whatever you want on the LCD screen....the panel is limited by its supported functions

The reason you are left with that space is because the Mozart TX is designed to use a fold out touch LCD panel made by the company in that space

Thermaltake Retractable LCD Touch Screen

Obviously, if your mod does not require the fold out portion or you can get something for $99 (1/3rd the cost of the Thermaltake) then go for it. The full function LCD with or without touch would be better than a basic LCD display module.....
