Default Soon to be project!

Well, I'm slowly getting parts together, ideas, and figuring out what I want to do for my new system. I've decided upon a theme already, all black pretty much with UV as my active lights on this inside.. Sorta.. stealthy I guess eh? Itll have some nice performance to it as well. Anyway, along with a few other editions, I'm going to try an add a 2nd screen to this case. Something along the side this small to fit on the inside and be viewable for system stats, nothing new I know. However, the place I'd thought about getting the screen from which was all fitted just for the mod with a s-vid plug no longer sells it (frozencpu.com). I'd thought about going the rout of using a PlayStation 1 portable screen as I've seen that mod a few times.. but I'm not sure yet. Does anyone have alternate ideas where I could snag a small screen for such a mod? PS1 screens are becoming hard to find too.

maybe an automotive screen(like, in-dash)? possibly even a pop-out... I like the "black"light idea. It does sound stelthy sorta... bring on the UV induced skin cancer! lol, jk

And BTW welcome to Overclock.net

Lol.. yus yus cancer! That is an idea, but I dont think I could make anything flip-out on the side and those usually cost loads.. less I can get like a broken one and just jack the screen. I’m really excited about the project, going to be very smooth, I've even got a slot-load cd drive so nothing at all sticks out on the front of the case.

i don't think this is what ur looking for exactly considering u mentioned the ps1 screen mod, and i dunno if they're a reputible dealer or not either but this looks kinda cool, and is cheap too.

Yeah, the drive cost me like $120 or something, Imma get a second just to go dual.. But guess im left to snoop around abit more. I want something before I start though because I've gotta cut another hole in the side for another display heh (itll be in the project). But I wanted a full screen on the side, something hat show an extension of the windows desktop, but won’t take away at whats inside.

Ah sweet thanks. I'm not opposed to spending around $250 for something I know I can get to work, but anything high I wanna stay away from. I can probably snag a PS2 one off ebay or something, just would need a guide on how to rig it up.
