Default Spilled acetone on my window... oops

So yeah, I spilled acetone on my window some days ago and tried to find out how to fix it, but with no avail.

Does anyone know how to fix an acrylic window without going out and buying a new one?

PS. I've already sanded the whole window... Somebody told me that I would have to use some stuff which I forgot the name of after sanding, lol.

Make sure you sandpaper the hole, and then put some U rubber over it to avoid sharp edges. Put some grease around the newly drilled hole, and then screw your computer, screw it hard. Maybe install some UV lights and turn em up to indicate that your computer is also excited.

Why did you sand your acryl window? That would do nothing but scratch it. Just go to your hardware store tell them the size you need they will cut it out, take it home and pop it on.

Is there any way to fix it without buying a new one?

You can actually get it back to clear after sanding, but you need various grades of plastic/acrylic polish to get it back to clear and.. Like ^^^ those guys said it's not worth it unless the piece is unreplacable. Although it never hurts to have a selection of plastic and metal polishes handy for normal 'life' needs.
