Question Small case fan placement?

I have a small case that I want to use but there is only enough room for 1 exhaust fan on the rear under the power supply and very little roon on the front. Would one fan for intake on the side be enough and where should I put it? I thought right over the CPU area but not sure. Should there be more exhaust than intake or is it equal number?

1 intake on the side will be fine. I only have an exaust fan at the back lol. I would get a nice fan there any maybe upgrade the one at the back. The higher the CFM the better. It will also cool the CPU down as there is more cool air for the CPU fan to use to cool it down.

put it on the side panel facing down onto the cpu/northbridge (motherboard heatsink)

there CAN be more exhaust (negative pressure) or more intake (positive pressure) but to have equal intake and exhaust is ideal

exhaust is more important than intake though if u had to choose

You can try using a 5.25" bay fan system like this one. Providing you have an extra slot on the front.

Comes with a twin fan system that exits warm air while the othe intakes cool air, twin air tube design increases airflow and the specially designed exit blocker prevents hot air from feeding back into the case.

I got one myself and works excellent
Also it only costs $9.99 CDN
