I'm looking into putting my computer into a new case, just because I hate the generic beige box that it's in now (mostly because adding a new drive or new card is always unnecessarily difficult). I'm pretty sure that I want either a Dragon or Matrix, because I like the windowed, easy-release side panel, the screwless fan mounts, and the drive rails. I also think they look cool.
The only difference I can see between the Matrix and the Dragon is the way that the front of the case looks (all vents or half vents). Is there a more profound difference? To further confuse things, I see Dragon cases made by Ultra and Antec as well. Are there appreciable differences in these? Any information/advice is appreciated. Links to mentioned cases are below: Chieftec Dragon Chieftec Matrix Ultra Dragon (Glossy) Antec "Dragon"

A lot of those cases are similar in design. Antec, Chenming, Ultra and Chieftec all have similar cases. I think all but the Antec are called Dragon.
__________________I bought an Ultra Dragon with side window and fan and Ultra X-Connect 500W PSU from Tiger Direct. Cost me $75 CDN after rebate. Check out Tiger Direct at the beginning of the month for the best deals. That said, Antec cases are good too. To answer your question, I think the Matrix case is smaller than the Dragon. The Dragon (at least the one I bought) has 2 80mm Front Intake, 2 80mm Rear Exhaust and 1 80mm side intake. I think the Matrix only has 1 Front and 1 Rear and maybe a side intake. I had to buy my fans (except the side) separately but that allowed me to get the Panaflo fans that I wanted.

I would say dragon, the front grill has a it better airflow then the Matrix edition. Its all your choice, style. I would recommend the Dragon Infinity Silver Full-Tower edition. Very nice, light, great airflow, and an infinite amount of modding possibilities, lol.

If you're just going for looks I'd get the Ultra Dragon with gloss paint.

id go with the matrix scence it is the cheepest,
after all you can make that case as cool if not cooler than any other of those, its not how much you spend on the t3h bas3 is how much time and $ you spend on the m0d5!
