Default New Tools - Need Advice

I'm still working on the mod in my sig, although the thread hasn't been updated. I just needed to get some more tools before I moved on with some of the other mods, I'm also going to re-do my custom side panel because the current one doesn't fit and the window looks like crap ^_^

Anywho, I'm planning on doing custom shrouds for two new rads I bought, and I also need a drill, hole saw bits, and a jigsaw.

So, here's what I scoped:

Milwaukee Electric® 3/8 Inch Magnum Drill
- $89.99

Craftsman Orbital Jigsaw 4.5amp

Trying to keep this less than $250, so, what are some good hole saw suggestions? What sized bits would be most useful to me?

Also, any suggestions regarding less-expensive tools I'm completely open to ^_^

o man Milwaukee makes some great power tools...good quality and they will last a while...good choice

Look into some DeWalt, Makita and Hitachi Power tools...Hitachi might be the least priced but their tools are of good quality. I have a Hitachi cordless drill and a lamp and they work great since we got them a couple years ago...

Also if you want to save some dough and you are not going to use these tools every day and just occasionally, then the brand Skil might be good for you. We have 2 of their jig saws and a reciprocating saw, they haven't given us any problems in the 4 years that we had them!

Thanks, I was checking into their drills, but they looked cheap/flemsy. Not good enough to swing around a 4.5'' hole saw.

I might just leave out the jigsaw to save money, I hadn't planned on a single hole saw costing me $30. I'm trying to keep this under $200, so I have money left over this month. I just heard the jigsaw was a good option for cutting straight, but in retrospect, my dremel does just fine with the straight aways.

For that price, I don't see how you could go wrong with a jigsaw - their a LOT easier for cuts, and they'll save you a lot of time

I think a 114mm or 117mm hole saw is best, but I'm not 100% sorry.

Found this one, looks OK:
