go grab you mobo manual, and loook for front I/O or fornt power switch and the likes,
make sure you have the power stich plugged in correctly, if it acts strangely at first try flipping it over so the seperate wires are reversed, i had this problem a few times, turns out i had the wires on backwards. i always find hooking this typ of thing up annoying, it's the last thing i do before putting the powersupply back into the case, i usually work form one end to the other, so it's easier, i usually get it wrong a few times, so i do it about 3 times to make sure all my buttons and LED's are working. and my front audio, and USB and all that... if you put the USB in, make sure that's all in right, i find it easier to get the order i need and hold all 4 plugs together, and push all 4 of one row of plugs over the pins at once, then repeat for the second row of pins, you will have 2 pins left over if yours is like mine... but i think my mobo doesn't support front USB 2 sooo.... if it's not that i'm unsure, make sure the addition P4 12v power plug is in (the little square 4 pin plug) as the system might not have enough power to boot up...
