Default Help with Painting inside of case

I have read a few threads on the web about how to paint your case, but I am just not getting what I need to know from them. I plan on painting the inside of the Antec 900 case black after making the "Wire Management" mod on the MB try. What I need to know is:
1)do I have to sand it first since the metal is not painted already? Do I sand after each coat?
2) does it have to be baked in the oven?
3) what is the cure time? I have heard of people applying coats a day, but do I need to let each coat including the primer dry for a day?
Any help, suggestions, or links to walk through would be great.
William

i highly recommend sanding the inside of the case. it makes for a nice bumpy surface for the paint to adhere to. slick metal surfaces = teh scratch n chip.
using a primer on the sanded surface further helps the paints durability.
it also helps if the primer's color matches that of the paint u want to use. black primer for black paint, light colored primer for whites and other mellow colors. etc etc.

honestly i just did a light sanding w/ some 220 grit, then some 400-ish grit and that was it. most of the innards are gonna get covered up so you don't need to worry about it too much. i also didn't sand between coats and it turned out rather smooth, not mirror but i didn't want that anyway.

unless you're powder coating, don't worry about baking it.

you can get most of the priming done over the course of 1 day. and let it cure for ~1-2 days before you sand.

then you can start adding light coats of paint. and follow the can's instructions for recoats. give it 1-2 days til u do a light wetsanding with 600 and going up every other coat/sanding.

after that you can do a clearcoat if you want. i didnt' do it and it turned out fine
