you should coat the inside of the legos w/ aluminum foil, to produce the faraday cage effect that normal metal cases have (to protect everything from static electricity)
yeah i was actually looking into something like that. but instead of aluminum foil, i thought i would go for something a little more rigid... im not sure what exactly but something for sure...

Also, ive made some more changes to the case. I took out some blocks around the bottom in a line across the sides of the case to see where i can make the air flow work... still in the works...

And i have some blue cold cathodes that i want to stick in there somewhere...

Thats awesome - I would strongly advise taking it apart brick by brick and rebuilding, but this time use some kind of adhesive

yeah I'm going to do that, but i want to figure out a way to have key points that are not glued so i can take it apart in big glued together chunks and replace hardware when i need to. Right now the whole motherboard is all lego'ed in. And i cant get it out without taking the whole case apart.....

I'm also still working on the whole grand scheme of things when it comes down to the final layout...

And school has more precedence than this case, so it might take me a few more days to get more pics of it going...

Thought about making the sides removable and the motherboard attached to the bottom?

you could easily take a few bricks out and make a window with a fan hole or.... buy a 20cm+ fan for the side and airflow troubles would be sorted!

.....if only they made copper/aluminium lego, you could use as5 as a kind of cement......lego heatpipe kind things.....

stand lego men inside it so it looks like they're working on it lol
