Default Help Adding 120mm Fan

I was thinking about my case today and how I can make it super load and super cooling efficient. I have this extra have CFM fan not being used and I want to add it in to the front of my case as an additional 120mm to the one at the bottom of the case.

Here is the case from the inside on the same spot...

..Obviously i just pop the metal brackets out...

My question is. Is there some sort of kit that will hold the fan in place and also includes a plastic screen like my fan at the bottom has, or is there an easy trick to this?

Thanks,
GibbyGano

to do it the easy way i would pop out the three bay covers or possibly only two and cut the hole size you want.
then mount the fan to the bay covers with hot glue.
remove the meatl bay covers behind and have the plastic bay cover clips hold the fan in place.
you will probably have to glue the two (or three) covers together as well.
put some black mesh in front of the hole befor you glue in the fan if you wish.

Thats easy and cheap in my book.

If you got a plasic sign shop or plasic sheet and rod supplier around, you can pick up a little chunk of 1/8 abs and some abs solvent/glue and, if you got a saber saw, a drill you can fab anything

Croak

BTW You can get nice straight cut with abs just by giving it a good deep score with a utility knife bend it and it'll snap nice and clean
