i wasnt talking about those parts (that the HDD trays slide into).... im talking about the sliding panels on the bottom part of the top chamber, the one that separates the 2 chambers, where u can slide cables through.

found the forum post where the guy removed the top of the case, he just used heat and slowly pulled it off....waiting on a reply to see if he got it back on...LOL

I also remember a post somewhere where a guy cut out a section of the door so that he could get to the power buttons without opening the door....u seen this anywhere?? tryna find it again

anyway....thanks so far, your tips are appreciated
Everything inside the case can be removed. Here is my case after a coat of primer with everything out:

the only plastic I didnt remove was the part on the very top of the case. I just taped that off with grey dcut tape. Hard to see it in the pic. I have a lot more pics in another thread, the Evolution thread in my sig. Just havent gotten around to putting them up on here as well.

Ya it does. That mobo was awesome when I had it working. Some people had 620 FSB on this board, it was amazing. Then mine went bad and Foxconn wouldnt RMA it, Newegg did though . Gotta love them for their customer service.

So

Its primer first
and then plastic bumper coat spray after?

Did you use a 9V battery?

Connect 1 end of the battery to the can and one to the case.

It charges the case negative and the paint positivly and helps them stick better

Heya Spacegoast.

Haven't gotten down to the spraying or sandblasting yet, but was taping/masking things up and was checking out the whole case and got a few questions.... (as usual :P)

first off...how did u manage to mask the feet and those sponge cushions that the door slides onto, and the rubber strips on the PSU cage, or did u just spray over them?

and how did you manage to spray into all the gaps of the casing, like under the bottom HDD bracket?
