Showbizz:
Looks good man . I saw that pic a few weeks ago and i was looking at those 3 SATA wires wondering how you managed that. LOL, all it needed was some double sided tape. As long as it works right. I actually cut a hole right below the motherboard so i could use right angled SATA cables too. i will post some pics here in a minute. i also cut out a hole in the back of the case to install a fan control knob and it looks pretty good.

Edit: Here are some new pics with the right angle SATA cables. i would have taken more but i gotta work soon.

i know the wires are somewhat of a mess right now, but i am just showing the picture of the SATA cables with the right angle.

here is a shot of the backside of the case. I cut out the original fan grill which was pretty easy and made the fans quieter. Also is the new fan control knob for my Silverstone FM121.

Hopefully I can get this bad boy painted soon.

mine is pretty bad, but i have a question. Is it okay for the side panel (side with all the wires in) to flex a bit ?

How much flex?

Bear in mind that tension on the panel puts tension on the retaining mechanism. If the slides are strong (and as I they are a dense plastic?) then it should not be an issue.

Also, is the flex a "bulge" or is it "torsion" (twisted). A bulge may permanently put a mild warp in the panel.

Your wiring could use some grouping, and then get attached to the bulkheads or panels with zip-ties and self-adhesive anchors. That will really help tidy up the cables, and keep that IDE cable from blocking airflow.

just me 2-cents.

My P180 had a small "bulge" (1-2mm) that was spread over the entire panel (wasn't localised) and when I removed the hardware and sold the case it was essentially perfect.

yea i thought that ide cable was really stupid considering how it pretty much COMPLETELY blocks the intake fan.

The bulge is very small, can barely tell, but i'm going to loosen the back screws a bit, i think it's the psu wire that's causing it

mine bulges out ever so slightly. you can hardly tell. mine is from the 6-pin psu cable. i cut out a slot for the 24-pin power cable behind the upper HDD cage. but a slight bulge shouldnt be a problem. when i take my side panel off there is no warping whatsoever. so the bulging in my case is not permanent.

you know that is not bad at all. you should get a round IDE cable so air will flow a little better in your case. it probably wont help much but it will improve the interior aesthetics, lol, and they are pretty cheap too. should be around 6 or 7 bucks.
