Hi, spacegoast. Thanks for the reply.
__________________Cutting a hole that size in the top of my brand new case makes me nervous, lol. But I'm quite sure I can manage i, as long as its round afterwards. On the front of the case at the bottom there is a 120mm fan blowing in over the HD cage. I've thought of sticking a 80mm fan on the round side hole in the window, which would suck air inward. Now if I stick the 120mm on the top of the case it should blow air out, correct?

I couldn't sleep so I did some cable modding this morning and plugged a few of my peripherals into that Ultra power bar. The power bar cuts down on a lot of the dangling cables I would have had to use and I was surprised when everything fired up because there are no instructions as to where to plug things in. Here a pic of the cable job I did. Not the greatest, but it's better than it was before. I stuck my little Sunbeam multi-port on the power bar. Looks pretty cool.

not too shabby there. ya if your temps are pretty good then there is no point in cutting a hole and gettin dirty and all. unless you just feel the urge to mod your case, lol. what are your temps by the way? you should be able to get a little more than 3ghz out of that Q66.

I'm not sure how sound this is as "advice", but I've got a project log going that you might find interesting, HERE. Hope that helps.

Gotta love power tools. I used to have a wood shop set up in a small house I was renting. I had just about everything, including my belove Makita cordless drill. Unfortunately I had to sell everything when I lost my home. I hate when that happens. I have always been an admirer of Milwaukee brand drills, but I could never afford them. I bought the Makita when it was on sale with a case that included a charger and extra batteries. DeWalt is a decent brand from what I've heard. Love the saw you're using - what model is that? Yeah, I'm always on the lookout at garage and estate sales for power tool related goodies. He he, great being a guy.
