Default Should I mod this case?

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16811190102

I am very new to the concept of modding cases. I'm thinking of drilling some vent holes in the top and mounting a fan up there. Would anyone advise against it? What other mods would be cool with this case?

well, i think most cases are 'moddable.' im no modder by any means, but i think the mods you mentioned would work.. im not sure how thick the metal is, but a common mod is setting up a side window..

I was thinking of that, too. I might make a hole on the side and mount an LED fan. I do happen to have glass from an old storm window that I could use. I would have to check some other logs and see how others did their's. As for paint, I didn't think of that, but I think I might do some custom red paint, kind of a red tribal type thing.

Hmmm...

imho that case is too small. The PSU is up front, and it looks like it vents from front to side. This will become an issue should you ever want to replace the PSU. Not impossible, merely problematic and unconventional.

If I may be so bold... Here is a nice case for about the same amount of money.

But if you are after Mini-Tower dimensions it will be too large.

Eh. I don't dig their stuff. It seems like it's made for specific cases. I might just do the paint and a fan vent in the top. I have plexiglas, by the way. Does that make a difference?
