i think they are both side panels but as to what you put there, coloured plexi

if your case is black, orange looks good
if its white, pretty much anything

Green looks kick ass too. On black that is.

You mean a side window? There are normal side panels and side panels with windows. Those windows are made usually from plexiglass.

ahh you mean the entire side panel to be see through or just a small window. Its really up to you but id say the window. you can make a big window if you like. The thing about the window is it can hide stuff you dont want to see, like the PSU and the harddrive/cd slots.

plexi window can look very pro with a u-strip border.

If you've got parts that look really nice I'd do it, but things like the drive slots tend to not really look too great.

Now if you thought of a way to integrate them into the look of the case or do something fancy with stickers or tape on the plexy glass to hide them that'd be interesting. The smilodon pops into mind. they had that strip of metal (i think) that went across their window that housed fans (i think). Something like taht with a full plexi side would be neat if you could hide where it attaches.

I've always been partial to windows tho, there's some things people jsut shouldn't see .

If you have the option I would get the entire plexi panel instead of window panel, then if you paint the inside of the case have nice hardware and good cable management it would be nice to see all that hard work and money.Just my 2 cents.
