Just dug out my old Antec 1030 and figured I would clean it up for a transplant out of my lil' Lian-Li PC68. Reason being that the LL case won't fit my new 8800 without some serious re-arranging.
__________________Figured I would keep it simple and paint the 1030 flat black inside and out. Don't know if I will paint the plastic front bezel yet. But after the first coat, I think it looks pretty good. Don't pay attention to the dust and finger prints, those wipe off - Also added a 120MM blow-hole and cut a 120MM in the side panel as well for the the GFX card. This was my first DIY pc case. I think I got it in 2001 and it has been in my garage forever. Will put another coat on it and the rest of my stuff (fans, new proc and hd, etc) should be in this week and I can get moved it. Any advice on other simple mods I could do to this thing? ![]() ![]() ![]()
