Default How'd i do? *56k WARNING*

Hey all, I had $70 to spend from my paycheck so i wanted to finally clean up my cable managment to its fullest.

What i bought:
- Foam sound dampening padding
- 3ft long sATA cable
- Asus sATA DVD drive
- 5th Antec Blue Tri-Cool 120mm fan

Start pics:

My workspace:

Bare case:

Case with some padding applied:
Around back plate, bottom near PSU, and an top of DVD drive

Back side of case beginning:

Case with Motherboard mounted:

Back side of case with all cables taped:

Case with everything mounted:

View of bottom hole:

View of top hole:

Complete job:

Before:

After

Side panel:

Crappy pic of it lit up:

Total time around 5 hours.. 2 1/2 hours for two days

I might put some more on the back since i have one whole sheet left plus some squares and such.

I noticed more of a muffled sound then it just coming through, but i think you will notice a lot more of a difference if you have a non windowed case.

Wow thank you. I noticed a more muffled sound, but i think a non windowed case like the P180s and 190s would have more of a difference and more silent. It is quieter though.

Nice cable work!

Where did you find that red sata cable? I can't find any 3 ft long red cables here.. I have plenty of black ones, but that's kinda boring and plain.

Btw, is that a.. train track?

you should turn your AC64 round so it blows the air out the back of the case... its so close to that graphics card it probably doesn't get a large amount of air.

looks great though very good job!

Newegg has a good amount of sATA cables.. heres the one i got, it has one L-shaped ending its nifty but i wish it didnt stick out as much, since it did i had to cut off one of the spokes for my top fan, i could have done without doing that i guess but its done now so yeah.

3ft is the longest you can use for a sATA cable, past that there isnt enough amplification so you will get wierd things happening with your data.

Heres the link:
Newegg.com - StarTech 36" Right Angle SATA Cable (1 end) Model SATA36RA1 - Retail

LOL yeah thats a train track, i was into model railroading before i really got into computers. The track doesnt bother me enough for me to take it off yet.

Thank you. Though the way its made, i can only point the fan up or down. There isnt a way of rotating the bracket so i could have it blowing out the back that i know of. If there is let me know
