Default Screwed up fan holes

So i bought this Thermaltake armor off of ebay a few months ago for $50 because the 2 back grills were all fux0red and the side were scratched up, I didnt really care about that. Basicly the fan grills are all cut off, but the cut wasnt even so its like a big wave and you can see past the circle of the fan in some places, now i want to mount fangrills, as my friend just cut his hand really badly on a delta 220cfm cuz hes a dumbass and stuck his hand in the back, and had to rush him to the er. I'm going to repaint this thing black and sand everything down so i want these holes fixed, if you need pictures i can post them. Basicly the 120mm fan grill turned into a 140mm fan grill and the 90 into a 120 lol THE HOLES ARE SO ANNOYING and deadly looks like somebody got too dremel happy and had too much to drink.\

So what is the problem, I do that to all my cases. My case normally faces with the back away from me, so I don't have a tendency to place my hands into open fans. Just purchase some grills to put over the fans.

WOW, whoever did those cuts just did the worst job I've ever seen.

Anyway, get some grills and get ready to do a lot of sanding. I'd recommend shopping here for something you like.

The problem is, when i put the grills over them, theres still spaces above and on the bottom where people can put their fingers, and the cuts are uneven which i dont like.

The best thing I can come up with for that is to make your own fan bracket that screws in between the fan and the case to cover the extra space.

Just place a sticker on the back that says
"Placing objects in operating fans can cause damage and/or serious injury."
The releases you from being liable for someone hurting themselves.
Or you can just, not put anything into the fans.

Get some sheet metal the shape you need it, and drill holes in it for the fans. Then simply mount it the same as you would a fan.
You can find the metal at your local hardware store and a dremel / saw.

You can also grab some of this Modder's Mesh ( http://www.frozencpu.com/products/40...?tl=g44c11s450 )

While using some Molding ( http://www.frozencpu.com/products/50...tl=g42c217s338 ) to keep fingers/hands scratch-free.

Or.. just use the molding to cover the rough edges and ur done
