I've got one of these flashlights sitting around, working perfectly. I don't have access to a solder gun yet, but if I plan on going through with this, I can probably get my hands on one to mod this. I've got what is essentially a Lian-Li PC65 (PC-60 silver with the PC-65 silver window side panel), and it's kind of gloomy inside with no lighting.
I'd like to somehow modify this and attach it to my system, but I'm no electrical genius (an idiot, essentially). Any wiring/lighting gurus able to point me in the right direction on this one?

i wouldn't count on stripping the LEDs off of it or anything but let's see...
3 AAA batteries @ 1.5v ea. = 3 x 1.5 = 4.5 volts. might be able to rig a 5 volt line to it. i'd take an old PSU and start experimenting... hopefully the LEDs can take the extra .5 volts hehe...

LED's are, surprise, diodes. The voltage across a 4.5 volt LED will be either 0 or 4.5V
