Default 900 modding ideas?

I am going to be drilling holes in my motherboard tray to run the cables behind. I was thinking if I should paint the inside. Is there certain paint I need and what is some good UV reactive. Also I was wondering if I paint the inside when I put my dvd burner and stuff in there will it get scratched? Also I was thinking of putting foam padding down everywhere but under the motherboard to insulate the sound. Just want some people's opinions. Also looking for other easy or basic mods to do. Please don't tell me to look at Cyberdruid because every time I do I get sad that I can't be that good.

Cyber Druid tested a bunch of good and alleged UV reactive paints... he could fill you in on some

Paint... auto parts stores carry a ''zinc chromate self etching" primer that adheres very well to both steel and aluminum. If you please, you can them prime with Duplicolors fill prime and sand with 400-600 grit then paint what color you like. Fill primer isn't necessary though. There is a sealer/primer you can put over the zinc chromate, allow to dry well and lightly sand out the specs of crapolla. Do get some tack rags too, they work great to pick up the dust and stuff after sanding.
